About Me

Hi there! My name is Dr. Emily. I am a wife, mother, and pelvic floor physical therapist that is passionate about all things women's health, low-tox living, movement as medicine, and nutrition. I grew up here in Phoenix, AZ and still live on the west side of the valley with my husband, son, and baby boy on the way. I received my B.S. in Biology from Grand Canyon University, and my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University. I opened Sol & Co as a mobile pelvic floor practice to allow me the flexibility to treat women all throughout Phoenix while still maintaining a work-life balance. In my free time, I like to practice yoga, cook and bake, read fiction, and hangout outside.

Testimonials

I started working with Emily because I was dealing with some uncomfortable pelvic floor tightness and some really painful spasms. After working with her, I was able to find some relief, reduce the amount and intensity of spasms and have now gone the longest without a spasm in a while! I’ll be keeping up with the exercises she gave me to support my pelvic floor and hopefully avoid spasms in the future!

I have had an amazing experience working with Dr. Emily. When I first started PT, I was skeptical that I would have any relief and was feeling hopeless after countless GYN visits and surgeries for endometriosis. Having no clear answers from my doctors, I was not even sure what was causing my severe chronic pain, but my daily life was miserable & centered around my heating pad. Working with Dr. Emily changed so much for me! Today, I am finally able to live a pain free free life, improving my career, social life, and relationship. Although PT can feel very intimidating (I was terrified to start!), she makes the process so comfortable. I never felt judged and was able to always be honest about my habits, how often I was doing my PT homework, my diet, etc. I always felt so cared for and valued. She really creates a safe space which I believe is central to the healing process. I am so thankful that I did pelvic floor therapy and that I was able to work with Dr. Emily. I cannot recommend her enough!

Dr. Emily has changed my life! After having years worth of pelvic floor tension from endometriosis-like symptoms I was able to find massive relief through working with her. I am so grateful to have found her.

If you’re on the fence about pelvic floor therapy definitely book with her! Totally worth having help from someone with so much empathy, compassion and knowledge.
